A little club that became everything.

K-ON! follows the Light Music Club at Sakuragaoka High School as a handful of girls turn after-school practice into something much bigger: friendship.

What starts with Yui Hirasawa joining the club without knowing how to play guitar grows into Ho-kago Tea Time — a band whose songs become the soundtrack to their school years.

Yui Hirasawa

Lead guitar · vocals

Bright, carefree, and powered almost entirely by snacks. Yui's natural warmth turns every ordinary afternoon into an adventure.

Mio Akiyama

Bass · vocals · lyricist

Quiet and thoughtful until the stage lights come on. Mio brings the band's grounded musicianship — and plenty of hidden nerves.

Energetic, mischievous, and impossible to ignore. Ritsu is the engine that keeps the club moving when everyone else gets distracted.

Gentle, curious, and endlessly generous. Mugi brings the keyboard, the tea, and a sense of wonder to the clubroom.
